all hazards, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and
other man-made disasters, by leading and supporting the Nation in

Resources Conservation Service has provided leadership in a partnership
effort to help America's private land owners and managers conserve
their soil, water, and other natural resources. NRCS employees provide
technical assistance based on sound science and suited to a customer's
specific needs. We provide financial assistance for many conservation
activities. Participation in our programs is voluntary. |

objectives of the NASD project are to provide a national resource
for the dissemination of information, educate workers and managers
about occupational hazards associated with agriculture-related injuries,
deaths and illnesses, provide prevention information, promote the
consideration of safety and health issues in agricultural operations,
and to provide a convenient way for members of the agricultural
safety and health community to share educational and research materials
with their colleagues. |

provides overall leadership, coordination, and direction for USDA's
civil rights programs, including matters related to program delivery,
